My motivation

Earlier this year my father was diagnosed. It hit me hard and the reality is that we can’t ignore the possibility that it can happen to you or the people you love.

For my father’s birthday this November 30th he has started a campaign to raise money in aid of Prostate Cancer and this is me doing my bit.

Since the age I started growing facial hair, around 15 I think, I have had a beard in one form or another. In fact I can’t remember the last time I saw my whole face and to be honest, at 44, I’m not looking forward to it!

Nevertheless I will take part this November and make the smallest of sacrifices to honour those who suffered before and raise money for those are in need today.

Please donate to help this worthy cause and feel free to have a chuckle at my expense! Who knows how many chins are hiding under there!!?

Even worse there might not be one at all!!

Day 2 and got a shock when I looked in the mirror first thing. Forgot I’d shaved! Define toy feels weird to wear a covid mask and feel the material directly on my face! Willing it to grow ASAP! Some great donations gratefully revived! Thanks all!

Wow! So day one and my face feels very weird! It’s not seen daylight for over 25 years. Its dry. Feels sore and really white! Ha! I’m missing my beard already. I did however find a scar under my chin I’d forgotten all about! I got it falling down the stairs whilst holding my toy guitar as a toddler!
