Movember 2018 was an incredible ride. So many moustaches, and that’s the way we like it.

The Movember community has worked hard to turn the moustache into a symbol for men’s health. It’s our hairy ribbon. A moustache here and there means we’re changing the face of men’s health everywhere. With the help of our partners, athletes, celebrities, and the whole Movember community, we had an outstanding Movember.

Here are some of our favorite Mo-ments during Movember 2018:

United States

Moustaches reached new lengths this Movember as Sony Picture’s new theatrical film release “Holmes & Watson” partnered with us to create a custom PSA from the film’s stars. See more from this hilarious duo in theaters this Christmas.

For the first time ever, Movember hosted a drag bingo extravaganza with the iconic Lady Bunny to stop men dying too young.

On the 17th, eighteen Mo Bros and Sistas hopped on their surfboards and paddled out into the Pacific Ocean to honour the men we’ve lost too soon.

The Movember team brought the barbershop to the Culver City Fire Station, giving thanks and complimentary cuts and shaves to our first responders.

On the 23rd, our very own Doug and Liz rang the bell at NASDAQ in recognition of our work in men’s health.

We all know how jolly the Green Giant is, but no one knew he could grow a rockin’ moustache overnight. He took his Mo to NYC’s Times Square among other places around the country this month.

Dutch Bros and their limited-edition moustache straws took over the Pacific Northwest this Movember.

The Starline tour buses stole the show with their eye-catching moustaches.

The Washington Ferries showed off their new moustaches across the Puget Sound.

Australia

Through our partnership with Cricketing Australia, stadiums all over the country embraced the hairy season growing their own moustaches on the turf.

After losing his grandfather to Prostate Cancer, Mo Bro Eray Saban held his annual “Shit Shirt Saturday” raising over $31,000 by bringing Mo Bros and Sistas together for an afternoon of fun at the pub in their sh*tiest shirts.

Mo’s weren’t limited to the faces of Aussie Mo Bros with trains, trams and buses all around the country taking the hairy word to the streets by growing their own upper lip rugs for the month.

Fifteen years ago, two guys first had a chat in a City of Yarra bar about bringing the moustache back to change the face of men’s health. To celebrate this milestone, the local council grew their own Mo on the front of Richmond Town Hall.

But the biggest Mo in the country hasn't come from Merv Hughes this year. That award goes to BHP for this giant Mo that is 75m wide and 29m tall - spanning a massive 9 floors!

From the coasts of Queensland to Victoria, the hardworking men and women of public transportation showed their support for Movember and changed the faces of their vehicles to change the face of men’s health.

The bravest Mo Bros in the country embraced a new kind of moustache for the final day of the month. In honour of the 469 Aussie guys we lost to Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Suicide during November, Mo’s were flown at half mast to honour these guys who were no longer with us.

Canada

To kick off the hairy month, a pop up barber appeared in the heart of downtown Toronto’s Financial District to make sure that Canadian faces were starting the month clean shaven.

Joining the fight for men’s health, Movember Mayhem kicked off their 8th consecutive boxing event held at CBC’s Studio 40.

Buses and trains all over British Columbia and Calgary braved the snow to spread the message of changing the face of men’s health by sprouting their own Mo’s.

This year, Movember teamed up with the NHL to raise awareness for Prostate and Testicular Cancer as part of Hockey Fights Cancer. Even the Zamboni joined the men’s health team.

United Kingdom

In the ultimate act of Mo bravery, Love Island’s Chris Hughes got his balls out on Good Morning Britain as he underwent a testicular cancer examination in front of the whole country to dispel some of the myths about getting your nuts checked.

1,280. That’s how many men we’ve lost during November to Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Suicide in the UK alone. Like a flag at half mast to honour important deaths, Mo Bros everywhere rocked the Half Mast Mo in honour of all the UK guys we lost this month.

Venturing where no Mo has gone before, UK Mo Bros and Sistas got the opportunity to collect ‘No Fuss’ donations simply by tapping their phone on fundraising badges.

The ‘liquid history’ of the River Thames became a little hairier as Movember chronicled itself to those historic records with the River Buses of London growing their own Mo’s.

The Borough Market and the Tower of London lit up with their own Mo’s during the month.

Moustaches took to the skies making their official UK debut at Royal Albert Hall before flying over the Battersea Power Station.

New Zealand

Huge thank you to former New Zealand international rugby league player, TV pundit, and business owner Robbie Hunter-Paul for discussing some of the biggest issues facing men, and for sharing his own personal experiences with mental health.

This year, the Auckland Cricket Team supported Movember once again by growing Mo's for men's health.

Ireland

130 soldiers of the Irish Defence Forces' 58th Infantry Group are currently deployed on a peace-keeping mission to Syria with the United Nations. These brave men all participated in Movember this year, and we are so grateful for them and their service.

We all have that friend that lets movies take over their life. A homage to the Killer Queen himself, Freddie Mercury and his ode to the humble Mo.
