Este año pongo le foco en la Salud Mental y en la prevención del suicidio.

Muchísima gente sufre en silencio: baja auto estima, rechazo social, acoso, violencia psicológica, presión en el trabajo y muchas otras circunstancias. Las apariencias pueden engañar y puede ser que los problemas estén en el interior. Tenemos que prestar atención a los detalles, debemos observar a los que nos rodean: amigos, colegas, familiares, conocidos, etc. Estáte ahí para alguien que lo puede necesitar. Puedes salvar una vida.

Si estás sufriendo, por favor pide ayuda. Pedir ayuda es un gesto de valor, no de cobardía.

La salud mental nos afecta a todos y puede desencadenar trastornos severos y conductas autodestructivas: adicciones, abusos, violencia y hasta el suicidio.

Hay que estar ahí, para ayudar a quien lo necesite.

This year my Movember focus will be Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

A lot of people suffer in silence: low self esteem, social acceptance, bullying, psychological violence, work related stress and many others. Appearances are many time misleading and it is the inside that is torn and broken. Pay attention to the small details and observe those around you: family members, colleagues, friends, acquaintances, etc. Make yourself available and be there for anybody that needs you. You can save a live.

If you are suffering please reach out and ask for help. We know it takes courage however it is a sign of strength, never of weakness.

Mental health affects us all and it can trigger severe disorders and destructive behaviors: drug addictions, alcoholism, domestic violence, self isolation, self injurious behavior and eventually suicide.

Be there for someone, everyone, anyone.
