"One day you're fine and the next day you may not be so fine."
In December 2012, Juan noticed in the shower that he had one testicle harder and a little bit bigger than the other.
Juan waited two more months before going to the doctor in February 2013, "with it more advanced, (badly done on my part), I decide to go that same afternoon to the ER directly. And here comes my "surprise:".
Tumor in the left testicle and the need to operate that same week.
Days later, Juan had an ablation of the left testicle.
"After a week in the hospital, with the corresponding cures, I was discharged and went home. But the post-operative period was hard and painful, with a wound of 18 cm, which became infected and complicated the rehabilitation.
"Within a week of leaving the hospital, I was given the results of the tumour analysis and then an appointment with the oncologist to see what treatment options were available. There, I met Dr. Emilio Esteban, a great professional and a great person. From the different treatment options, we chose the weekly follow-up of tumor markers and ultrasound, for 3 consecutive months. Everything went in the desired direction and the number of days between visits increased, until today when I go only once a year.
From this moment on, Juan decided to change many things in his life, his work environment, and "things that used to be important became not so important anymore. I now better selected the key moments of life which really are."

And Juan did it, "thanks to the great captain of the team of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas de Asturias, Gerardo, who made me join the movement to support the work done by the Movember Foundation.”
